It’s the differences that catch you out

You’re not relearning how to fly. You’re learning where Australian rules, airspace and procedures diverge from what you already do — and those are exactly the questions that are easy to get wrong with confidence.

  • Worked reasoning on every answer, right and wrong
  • References back to the regulation, so you can check the source
  • Every attempt saved, so you can see which subject needs the work

Sample question

Two aircraft on approach to the same runway, labelled X and Y

Which aircraft in the diagram has the right of way?

Aircraft X
Aircraft Y
Why The higher aircraft gives way to the lower one, so X has right of way. The catch: a lower aircraft mustn’t use that rule to cut in front of one already in the final stages of its approach. And a powered aircraft always gives way to a glider.

See it in action

A worked answer, start to finish

This is what you get when a question catches you out — not a red cross, but someone talking you through it.

Video answers are included on the questions that catch most pilots out.

What’s included

How it works

Sit, review, resit

1

Sit a full-length paper

Find out quickly which Australian topics you’re solid on and which ones you’ve been doing differently for years.

2

Review every question

Read the reasoning and the references, so you understand the Australian rule rather than memorising an answer.

3

Resit until it sticks

Unlimited attempts, with questions drawn fresh each time so you’re learning the theory, not the order.
