A score doesn’t teach you anything

Most practice exams tell you what you got wrong. We tell you why — so the next time that question appears, in practice or in the real PPL exam, you know it.

  • Worked reasoning on every answer, right and wrong
  • Video walkthroughs for the questions that catch people out
  • Every attempt saved, so you can target weak topics
PPL practice exam

Sample question

Which aircraft in the diagram has the right of way?

Two aircraft approaching to land on the same runway, labelled X and Y, with X lower than Y
Why

The higher aircraft gives way to the lower one, so X has right of way. The catch: a lower aircraft mustn’t use that rule to cut in front of one already in the final stages of its approach. And a powered aircraft always gives way to a glider.

A worked answer, start to finish

This is what you get when a question catches you out — not a red cross, but someone talking you through it.

Video answers are included on the questions that catch most students out.

How it works

Sit, review, resit

1

Sit a full-length exam

Timed and formatted like the real PPL exam, so there are no surprises on the day.

2

Review every question

Go through the worked explanations — especially the ones you got wrong. That’s where the marks are.

3

Resit until it sticks

Unlimited attempts, with questions drawn fresh each time so you’re learning the theory, not the order.

Ready to sit your PPL?

One membership covers RAAus right through to ATPL, aeroplane and helicopter — so it carries you into your CPL and IREX without paying again.
