Which exams are covered?

RAAus, RPL, PPL, CPL, IREX and PIRC — aeroplane and helicopter — plus short quizzes and flashcards. One membership covers all of it, so you don’t pay again when you move up to the next licence.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The monthly plan auto-renews and can be cancelled any time from your account. The 3, 6 and 12 month plans are prepaid one-time charges — they don’t auto-renew, so there’s nothing to cancel.

Which plan should I pick?

Most students spend three to six months on a licence, so the 6 month plan suits the majority. If you’re working through more than one licence, 12 months is far and away the cheapest per month.

How many attempts do I get?

Unlimited. Resit any exam as often as you like, and use the feedback on every question to see exactly which topics are costing you marks.

Do you sell printed exams too?

We do — printed practice exams are shipped to you with all answers in the book, and no internet needed. Browse them in Print Practice Exams. This page covers online access only.

Is this official CASA material?

PilotTrain is a practice and revision tool, backed by Aviation Theory Centre. It’s built to prepare you for CASA exams, but it isn’t a CASA product and doesn’t replace your flight training or approved theory materials.
